Mechinagar - The Mechinagar Municipality has decided to shift quarantines in community buildings by displacing quarantines in schools within the city. A meeting of the municipal executive committee on Wednesday decided to remove the quarantines from schools in Mechinagar and place them in community buildings.

Six women, two children and nine men who were in the quarantine of Radhaswami Bhawan at Mechinagar-10, Dhulabari have been shifted to the newly operated quarantine of the Athithi Sadan, Dhulabari on Friday

Mechinagar Municipality Deputy Mayor Mina Pokharel Upreti said that a well-organized and safe quarantine for men has been managed on the upper floor of the Atithi Sadan and women on the lower floor has been started from Friday.

She informed that the Mechinagar Municipality will provide food to all the people living in the quarantine of the community building. "Those who are currently in the quarantine of schools in the city will be sent to the home quarantine if the PCR report test negative," said Upreti. "Newcomers will now be placed in the quarantine of the community building."
