Mechinagar - Corona infection has been confirmed in two people, including a man in the home quarantine in Mechinagar, Jhapa. According to Jeevan Chaulagain, focal person of the Health Office, Jhapa, two more men in Mechinagar have been confirmed to have corona infection yesterday. According to Mechinagar Social Development Committee Coordinator Nabin Baral, men from Ward No. 5 and 6 were tested positive for corona virus yesterday.
A 30-year-old man from Ward No. 5 was living in the quarantine of Jana Kalyan Secondary School in Ward No. 5. Similarly, a 33-year-old man of Ward No. 6 has been infected. Baral informed that he came from India on June 14 and stayed in the home quarantine. He had gone to India eight months ago and returned home by air to Bagdugra. The family claims that he tested negative for PCR while test was conducted in India. According to coordinator Baral, the PCR test of the family members will be done today. The swabs of both the infected people were collected on June 17. The number of corona infections in Mechinagar has reached five. Those infected yesterday have been taken to isolation center in Gothgaon, Morang.
