Mechinagar | Bahundangi Community Hall, which is located at Mechinagar Ward No 4 has been converted as a quarantine centre. The quarantine which came into operation since Sunday is set off for the locals who are being repatriated from abroad. A total of 25 people have been placed in quarantine of the community hall as of 4PM Monday. The meeting of Mechinagar's municipal executive council held on last Wednesday decided to remove quarantines from schools in Mechinagar and place them in community buildings. Mechinagar Municipality notified that "those who are now in the quarantine of schools in the city will be sent to the home quarantine if their PCR reports test negative and the newcomers will be placed in the quarantine of the community buildings in the town."

Similarly, Atithi Sadan at Mechinagar 10 is being operated as a quarantine since last Friday. A well-organized quarantine for men has been managed on the upper floor of the Atithi Sadan where the ground floor serves as a quarantine for women.

Mechinagar Municipality will bear all the expenses of food for those who are staying in the quarantine of community buildings.
